IDENTITY
I was born and raised in central Texas to immigrant Mexican parents. Trying to hold on to my cultural identity, I couldn't seem to find a place in the Hispanic community or the American one. So I kept to myself and tried to create my own sense of identity.
VALUES
As a child I always gravitated towards nature and all the things it fostered. To natural processes and wanting to know how and why. To the little things that are typically overlooked or forgotten. I enjoyed creating, and seeing the world through different lenses, and I like to believe that I specialized in finding treasures in what others discard.
STRENGTHS
I may be delusional in my belief that I can make any craft or artwork that I lay my eyes on, but delusion aside I do tend to pick up tactile skills very easily. I particularly find the myself drawn to the following mediums or processes
- Acrylic paint
- Clay crafts
- Vision Boards
- Drawing organic objects
- Miniatures
- Dry flower arranging
- Etc.
